CMCore CTOS Deployed at Italy's DTM

On September 18, China Merchants International Technology (CMIT) and Duferco Terminal Mediterraneo S.p.A (DTM) in Sicily, Italy, officially signed a contract for the licensing, implementation, and maintenance of the CMCore Container Terminal Operating System (CTOS). This marks the third deployment of CMCore CTOS in Europe, following its successful implementation at the Thessaloniki Container Terminal in Greece and the MITO Terminal in Italy, signifying a new milestone for CMIT in its journey toward global expansion.

As the technology innovation-driven platform of CMPort, CMIT continues to strengthen technological innovation and upgrade its products and services, while deepening reform. With an international perspective, it collaborates with partners to jointly explore the development of digitalized ports.

Founded in 1979, the Duferco Group, to which DTM belongs, is a diversified multinational corporation. Its core businesses include energy, industry, shipping, and innovation. Prior to its transformation, Duferco was the world's largest steel trading and integrated services company. The signing of this contract will further strengthen the cooperation between CMIT and the Duferco Group in the container terminal sector, jointly driving the digital transformation of port and shipping services. This partnership will provide enhanced services for both local and international clients in Sicily, Italy.

In recent years, CMIT has continuously expanded into external markets, accelerating its global business layout, with its overseas presence steadily growing. Currently, its business scope covers multiple countries and regions across Europe, Africa, and Asia, serving as a successful example of CMPort's "Smart Solutions" and Chinese innovation on the global stage.

Looking ahead, CMIT will remain committed to providing smarter and more efficient solutions for global clients, creating greater value for the port and shipping logistics industry.
