Tin-can Island Container Terminal Limited (TICT)

Tin-can Island Container Terminal Limited (TICT) was established in 2004, located in port B of Tincan Island, Lagos port, Nigeria. In November 2010, China merchants port (60%) and sino-african fund (40%) jointly acquired 47.5% of TICT shares. The majority shareholder is Bollore.

TICT is the second largest container terminal in Lagos, with 3 container berths and 770 meters of coastline, leading edge water depth of 13.5 meters, and maximum designed capacity of 400,000 teus per year.

Since the investment of China merchants port in TICT, the project has been running well with a continuous increase in annual throughput, which has exceeded the designed capacity of 400,000 teus for several consecutive years. Corporate financial performance has also been steadily improving year by year, bringing good investment returns to China every year.
