Ningbo Zhoushan Port Company Limited (NBP) is a company established by CMPort in conjunction with Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group Limited and 6 other entities on 18 April 2008. CMPort is its mainly shareholder.

Ningbo Port consists of 5 port areas i.e. Beilun, Zhenhai, Ningbo old port, Daxie and Chuanshan. It is a modern, comprehensive and multifunctional deepwater port, combining inland, estuary and coastal harbours. Currently there are 309 operational berths, including 60 deepwater berths for 10,000 tons or more vessels. They include the 250,000-ton crude oil terminal, the 200,000-ton ore discharging berth (also for 300,000-ton ships), the specialized terminal for the sixth-generation container vessel and the 50,000-ton berth dedicated for liquid chemical products. Up to now, NBP is

connected with more than 600 ports in over 100 countries and regions.

The main business of the Ningbo Port is the handling, storage and trans-shipment of imported iron ore, container for foreign and domestic trade, crude and nished oil, liquid chemicals, coal, and other bulk and general goods.
